Important Update: CMS pauses implementation of skin substitute LCDs until January 1, 2026

CMS announced that it will delay the effective date for implementation of the LCDs for Skin Substitute Grafts/Cellular and Tissue-Based Products for the Treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers and Venous Leg Ulcers Final until January 1, 2026.  

If your product(s) are affected by these LCDs, CMS is providing an opportunity to submit peer-reviewed publications and high quality findings to them at CAGInquiries@cms.hhs.gov by the due date of November 1, 2025.
